Mom just got released from the hospital again. She keeps becoming severely anemic but they can't seem to find a reason for it. Gave her blood and now she's back recuperating at the nursing home. Her doctor and the PT people are recommending she not go back home.
Brother found out the tenant, who is not supposed to have access to her part of the house, indeed has access and has been using her laundry and soap for his laundry. Nice guy.
Plus big brother is starting to cause problems but that may have calmed down for now.
Well, Kris, I don't know which reunion you're going to, but I do know you'll wow them with how 'well preserved' you are ! LOL ! And that 'graciousness' you have..
Love the SCOUTS.... hate that they got such a 'bad rap' early on because of a bunch of 'revenge seekers' , which meant some GREAT kids with some GREAT skills got overlooked by some and caught in the middle.
Kris, this is one of the 'urban' babies, part of the new 'crew', shot in my backyard. I had to snap this and run back into the house, as he was so curious and so unafraid he wanted to come hang out with me. Mama was in the tree growling... and I didn't want ANY truck with her.... wished it would have been a 'better' shot. I'll edit this one one of these days..

My new icon actually came from Saturday night while watching KISS. I said I saw them when I was 14 years old as the intro band for J Geils. You know they look exactly the same? How did they keep that make up on for so long? Huh? Inquiring minds want to know!
I had a really good time. We did have a position about 20 feet from the stage but Tommy was feeling closed in (rats!!!) so he preferred standing way in the back. That's ok, the music was good, the show was awesome. We saw Jane's Addiction, too. The lead singer actually had on a super hero costume complete with boots and cape. OMG!
We had Natchidoches meat pies and fried crab fingers to eat. Since I'd been there two years prior I knew where to park so no problem getting to the car and no problem getting home. You gotta be willing to walk a little bit to park there but hey, I'd rather walk a bit than have to fight bumper to bumper.
